Patrick and SpongeBob have to take care of the Mermalair while Mermaid Man and Barnacle Boy are on vacation. SpongeBob and Patrick are doing fine until they accidentally set Manray, one of Mermaid Man's nemeses, free from suspended animation. They try to teach him to be good by training him with a tickle belt that was installed on him in an episode of The Adventures of Mermaid Man and Barnacle Boy. In the end, he manages to convince SpongeBob and Patrick that he has reformed, and they remove the belt, but afterward he immediately goes off to do evil. However, Manray still feels the effects of the belt whenever he has the urge to do evil, so he surrenders to SpongeBob and Patrick and gives them his mask. A headless Manray wishes them well and walks off into the horizon.
